5 Great Date Ideas For The Halloween Season

Many people look forward to October and all of the spooky Halloween activities that are only available this time of year. If you're in a relationship, October is also a great month to try out some fun and unique dates that you may not be able to do during other months. This Halloween season, consider taking your significant other on one or more of the following dates:
Pumpkin Patch
The beautiful fall weather is the perfect excuse to get outside and visit a pumpkin patch. Spend time with your loved one by walking around and selecting the perfect pumpkin to carve. Some pumpkin patches also have food and entertainment, so you may be able to spend several hours enjoying yourself and relishing in the season.
Visit a Haunted House
If you're a thrill-seeker, visiting a haunted house can be a very exhilarating date. Most urban areas have several haunted houses, and they can range from mildly spooky to extremely scary, so you and your significant other can select one that best suits what you like. Touring a haunted house 2016 is also a great time for holding hands and comforting each other during the scariest parts.
Horror Movie Marathon
When you want to feel scared around Halloween, plan a date night at home with a stack of the scariest horror movies. Don't forget to have popcorn on hand, as well as sodas or maybe a bottle of wine. Turn the lights off, snuggle on the couch, and be prepared to jump out of your seat.
Shop for Costumes
If you and your significant other have been invited to a Halloween costume party, consider making shopping for costumes a fun evening date. Visit one of the huge costume stores that pop up during the Halloween season and try on all of the different costumes available. Think about purchasing costumes that go together for a cute couple's look.
Carve Jack-o-Lanterns
Carving pumpkins is a wonderful Halloween tradition that should be enjoyed year after year. After buying pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, make plans with your significant other to spend time together carving them. There are a number of pumpkin carving kits on the market, so try carving the most elaborate pumpkin possible. Have a friendly contest between the two of you to see who can create the best-looking pumpkin possible. Order take-out or have food delivered so you can have dinner together after you're done.
